- The North Wales Regional Safeguarding board will become more established and influential.
- To undertake regular audits of Child Protection and POVA processes monitoring
o compliance with Statutory and Local timescales
o quality of recording
o outcomes of the process
- To implement safe recruitment procedures across the Council
- To introduce a Council wide training programme ensuring a basic awareness of safeguarding issues
- To ensure safeguarding issues are considered in the relevant Corporate and Regional meetings including:
o Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB)
o Adult Safeguarding Board
- To ensure that risk management is seen as an intrinsic element of the assessment, care planning and review process
- To improve joint working with CAMHS through joint workshops and to development of a joint action plan
- Undertake a debrief with the police following a high profile case and produce an action plan
